Oil paintings
I painted this picture at the school’s plus Fine Arts lesson. We made these paintings with oil on a canvas. They took the paintings to an exhibition in the school where a big schoolbook printing company found us and took them to their gallery. Both of the exhibitions themes were “Gypsies hard lines with an eye of kids”. We worked many months with the oil paintings but I was one of the first kids who finished it.
This is my first painting with oil and even on canvas, but I liked it a lot. We even got into TV with our paintings. When people saw the exhibition they said “It can’t be true that children did these”, but we just thought that we can do better since it’s our first picture with oil. Although it felt good that they thought adults painted the pictures and not 10-14 year olds.
